I have always considered myself to be an artist without a medium. I jumped around sporadically from stained glass, to painting, to sculpture, to mosaics and any mixture there-of, but it wasn’t until I found glass-fusion that I found my passion.

Glass fusion then blossomed into an art form so unpredictable, that the only boundaries are those found in the mind. Leisure time is a word no longer in my vocabulary as when I am free, I am working side by side with my son Ryan. Together in our small studio we proudly work, learn, create and sometimes destroy art under the name Altered States Glass.

 My love of glass started with a local glass fusion class with Bob Pierce, another very talented Central Coast Artist.  Soon thereafter we became acquainted with Peggy Stewart of Desert Glasshopper Studios.  Thank you Peggy, for opening up, sharing and teaching me all the ways to unleash my imagination on the canvas of glass. You are a great artist, teacher and person.  We love you.
